Kids & Teens

Four age bands, four different rooms

A four-year-old and a fourteen-year-old need almost nothing in common. So they do not share a group, a coach or a hall. Every programme below runs at an hour when there is also an adult class, which is the whole point of the timetable.

Programmes

Which group for which age

Ages are a guide, not a rule. If your child sits between two groups, come to a trial session in both and decide afterwards.

4–7

Kids gymnastics

Rolling, hanging, balancing, landing softly. The hour is built around apparatus the children can use without being lifted onto it, so they choose their own level of difficulty.

What happens in the hour

  • Warm-up game, then three apparatus stations
  • Floor, low beam, rings, wall bars, foam pit
  • Barefoot or gym shoes, no special clothing needed
Duration
60 minutes, once a week
Group size
Max. 14 children, two coaches
Coach
Selin Aydın
Price
€29 per month, or included in the family plan
6–9

Ball school

Throwing, catching, aiming, reacting — the general ball skills that come before any one sport. No club, no league, no selection.

What happens in the hour

  • Small games in groups of four to six
  • Soft balls, hoops, targets, no full-size goals
  • Every child touches a ball for most of the hour
Duration
60 minutes, once a week
Group size
Max. 16 children, two coaches
Coach
Selin Aydın
Price
€29 per month, or included in the family plan
8–11

Kids Athletics

Running, jumping, throwing and climbing as a circuit. Bodyweight only. We do not load a growing spine with barbells, and we say so to the children too.

What happens in the hour

  • Six-station circuit, changed every three weeks
  • Coordination ladder, sled push, rope, box jumps
  • A short cool-down and a drink break, always
Duration
60 minutes, once or twice a week
Group size
Max. 16 children, two coaches
Coach
Selin Aydın
Price
€29 per month, or included in the family plan
12–17

Teen Training

A proper introduction to strength training. Everyone starts with four weeks of technique on light loads before touching a barbell, whatever they can already lift.

What happens in the hour

  • Technique block: squat, hinge, push, pull, carry
  • A coach on the floor the whole hour
  • Written consent from a parent or guardian required
Duration
60 minutes, up to three evenings a week
Group size
Max. 14 young people, one coach
Coach
Jonas Behrend
Price
€19.90 per month, or included in the family plan

Every programme starts with one free trial session. Nothing is signed before it.

Responsibility

What we do and do not do with children

No loaded barbells before 15

Under-15s train with their own bodyweight, medicine balls and light dumbbells. Teen Training starts with four weeks of technique before any barbell, regardless of what a young person can already lift.

Two instructors in every children's group

One leads, one watches the rest of the hall. Groups are capped at 14 or 16 depending on the programme, and we close a group rather than adding a fifteenth child.

Certificates of good conduct on file

Everyone who works with children here has an extended certificate of good conduct under § 30a BZRG on file and current paediatric first aid.

We do not photograph your child

There are no photos of children on this website and no camera in the children's hall. If we ever want a picture for anything, we ask a parent first, in writing, for that one picture.

Practical

For parents, before the first session

  • 1

Come ten minutes early for the first time so your child can look at the hall while it is still quiet.

  • 2

Gym shoes or bare feet. No jewellery, no watches, hair tied back.

  • 3

A named water bottle. We do not hand out drinks.

  • 4

Stay in the building for the first session. After that, most parents train and it works fine.

  • 5

Tell us about asthma, allergies, epilepsy or anything else that would change what we do in a hurry. We write it on the group sheet and nowhere else.

Trial

Book a trial session

One form. A parent or guardian fills it in — never the child.
